Nucleos is committed to leveraging technological advancements to improve lives while ensuring inclusivity. Their technology aims to help individuals achieve educational, training, and career goals more effectively, with a focus on reaching underserved learners in challenging environments.
The organization began as PortableCloud, an education technology initiative co-founded by Noah Freedman and Camila Vega, in partnership with Stanford Professor David Katzenstein. Initially, the project aggregated offline educational content for under-resourced schools in developing countries, starting with projects in India, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.
Nucleos shifted its focus to the U.S. correctional education system after Noah Freedman learned about the significant lack of educational and training opportunities within many prison systems. This redirection aimed to address the profound disparities in access and opportunity in the U.S. correctional education system.
Today, Nucleos is dedicated to breaking down barriers to education and workforce development. They empower individuals in underserved communities, including those impacted by the justice system, through their innovative digital experience platform, Achieve DXP. This platform delivers secure, data-driven learning solutions that connect people to life-changing educational and career opportunities.
